An experiment in ambient, at-a-glance UI for live data.
Glowscape is a multi-site smart home platform: Raspberry Pi bridge, cloud registry, web UI, integrations, and MCP tools for controlling real devices across homes and offices.
The project started from ambient UI experiments and grew into the harder problem underneath them: normalizing messy device ecosystems so a person or agent can reason about the physical world without caring which hub, bridge, or vendor owns the device.
It is part home automation, part infrastructure project, and part test case for AI systems that need to touch real environments carefully.
