Background

Twenty years in startups as an operator and a founder beside teams from zero toward Series B. IPO-era years in a VP-Technology chair on marketplace and platform at a public company, then walked back toward earlier-stage work on purpose. Today that includes co-founder work at Goodword alongside Wolf Works mandates.

The throughline is hands-on. Most of what I do is architecture decisions that produce running systems — data warehouses, agent toolchains, e-commerce platforms, integrations between the apps a team is already paying for. The job is to leave something that keeps running after I do.

How I think about Product + Technology

The shortest path to clarity is usually a smaller stack you can run on a Tuesday afternoon. I pick controllable infrastructure over fashionable infrastructure, then put the operational knowledge in version control so the team can revert and review like they would code.

Most of my work here lives in this practice area: data layers that produce real signal, AI and agent systems that earn their place by doing measurable work, e-commerce and content platforms wired together with intentional restraint.

How I think about Founder Leverage

The work serves your clarity. Monthly written reports beat dashboards. Weekly narratives beat metric walls. Explicit ownership lines between operators beat ambiguous accountability. I want you to know what shipped, what’s open, and what we’re deciding next — and to know it in plain sentences.

What I’m building right now
